To get the most out of your Hatha yoga course take a couple of minutes to read and digest the six steps that are simple. Six Easy Actions to Enjoy Your First Yoga Class1. Smile and be happy. You've made an essential investment in yourself. Your life's complete and there are plenty of demands on energy and your time. 





The fact you have made the choice sends a signal that life's about to change. You are taking the very first step to recovering control over your time and attention for yourself.2. Let buddies and family members know when you're going to your class. Remind them not to phone you since you will not be able to answer through your course. Your course could last between 60 and 90 minutes and after the course, you may not look like talking to anyone directly away.3. Check in with your yoga tutor before you attend the class. Have a phone conversation or send her an email. 

In case you've any special concerns talk them over with your tutor and ensure all your queries are answered.4. The night before your course, check you have lost a hot top, tracksuit, clothes, blanket, and yoga mat. Some yoga teachers will provide you with a blanket and\/or yoga mat. However, if you do decide to continue your practice then it's more hygienic to purchase your very own yoga mat. Plan your route, check out how long it will take to arrive, check out parking or bus\/train timetables. The last thing you need is to be hassled on how to assemble get at your yoga class. 


Aim to come to least 10 minutes before the class starts so you can complete an initial medical\/lifestyle questionnaire and become familiar with your surroundings.5. On the day of a yoga class, try not to eat a heavy meal at least 60 - 90 minutes prior to your class. If coming directly from work, then a light snack, for instance, fruits and a glass of water could be eaten. By all means, bring a light snack to eat following your class.6. After you arrive at your yoga class, don't forget to take your shoes off and las chat in the designated place. Most yoga studios\/classes do not allow outdoor shoes in the yoga space.7
